Hydraulic Engineering Consultant Corporation II (UPCoM: HEC)

- Hydraulic Engineering Consultant Corporation II (HEC), formerly known as Hydraulic Engineering Design and Survey Sub-Institute for Southern Vietnam, was established through merging Southern Engineering Design Delagation and Southeast Survey Delegation on 11 September 1982. The Company specializes in (i) Preparation a plan for hydraulic and hydropower construction, (ii) Providing design of hydraulic and hydropower project, and (iii) Preparing and appraising final acceptance documents of hydraulic and hydropower projects. HEC is the first Vietnamese company which constructs Bentonite concrete water-proff wall for Duong Dong Dam Foundation (Phu Quoc), and treats the earth-dam body of the Easoup reservoir's upstream with a working load up to 15,000 m3. The Company provided appraisal and monitoring services for typical works, including Krong Busk reservoir's downstream(Dak Lak), Iamor reservoir's irrigation work, Can Gio Sea-Encroachment Work (Ho Chi Minh), Maspero river embankment (Soc Trang) and Cong Cai Quao Irrigation system (Ben Tre, Tan Giang reservoir (Binh Thuan), Cua Dat irrigation work (Thanh Hoa), Ta Trach reservoir (Thua Thien Hue), Ngan Truoi reservoir (Ha Tinh)...
