Milestones
- On July 1, 1970: Vietnam Ocean Shipping Company, currently known as Vietnam Ocean Shipping Joint Stock Company was established;
- n March,1975: Ministry of Transport set up Vietnam Coaster Shipping Company (VietCoShip)
- On October 26,1993: Re-establish Viettnam Ocean Shipping Company;
- On April 29, 1994: Become a independent legal entity, belonging to Vietnam Marine Corporation;
- On July 11, 2007: Reform to a joint stock company;
- On January 1, 2008: Vietnam Ocean Shipping Joint Stock Company commenced operations with the charter capital of VND1.4trillion, of which 60% was owned by the Government;
- On September 8, 2010: VOS shares were official traded on the Ho Chi Minh stock exchange.
