- April 15, 1993: Formerly known as An Binh Rural Commercial Joint Stock Bank (ABBank) was established with an initial charter capital of VND1 billion under the operation licence No,0031/NH-GP issued by the State Bank of Vietnam;

- March 21, 1998: Increased the charter capital to VND1.2 billion;

- May 17, 2002: Increased the charter capital to VND5 billion;

- December 31, 2003: Increased the charter capital to VND36,104,000,000;

- August 05, 2004: Increased the charter capital to VND70,044,000,000;

- 2005: EVN became a strategic shareholder of ABB;

- July 25, 2005: Increased the charter capital to VND165,000,000,000;

- November 15, 2006: Increased the charter capital to VND1,131,950,500,000;

- October 04, 2007: Became a public company under the Document No.758/UBCK-QLPH issued by the State Securities Commission of Vietnam (SSC);

- October 24, 2007: Increased the charter capital to VND2,300,000,000;

- 2008: Maybank acquired ABB's shares and became a strategic shareholder;

- October 02, 2008: Increased the charter capital to VND2,705,882,350,000;

- December 15, 2009: Increased the charter capital to VND3,482,512,960,000;

- 2010: Successfully issued convertible bonds with a total value of VND600 billion to International Finance Corporation (IFC) và Maybank;

- December 13, 2011: Increased the charter capital to VND4,199,999,760,000;

- April 26, 2013: Increased the charter capital to VND4,797,999,760,000;

- October 04, 2016: Increased the charter capital to VND5,319,496,290,000;

- July 22, 2019: Increased the charter capital to VND5,713,113,550,000;

- December 28, 2020: Traded on the UPCOM market;
