In 2007, the Company transformed its business model to a Joint Stock Company. Viet Duc Steel Pipe is the leading enterprise in the steel pipe industry in Vietnam. Products include: round black square (square, rectangular) steel pipes, large-sized black high-pressure round steel pipes, hot-dipped galvanized steel pipes, cold-rolled steel, and screw bolts. Currently Viet Duc Steel Pipe owns 10 production lines of small black steel pipes, 2 production lines of galvanized steel pipes with modern technologies of the US, Germany and Taiwan, of which, the capacity of steel pipes is 180,000. tons / year, cold rolled steel sheet capacity is 120,000 tons / year. Steel products of Viet Duc Steel Pipe have been associated with national key projects such as Thanh Tri Bridge, Vinh Tuy Bridge, Phap Van Bridge, National Convention Center, The Manor, Keangnam, The Landmark, Thang Long Cement, Hoang Thach Cement, Pha Lai Thermal Power, Uong Bi Thermal Power, Sai Gon - Trung Luong Expressway. Currently the company's steel products have been exported to the US, Canada, the EU, Indonesia, Laos and Myanmar (accounting for 30% of total production). VGS has been traded on Hanoi Stock Exchange (HNX) since December 04, 2008.
