Main business scope:

- 1976: Industrial Gas and Welding Electrode Company was founded pursuant to the Decision No. 229/HC-TCCB dated 18 May 1976 issued by General Department of Chemical Products on the basis of taking over and nationalizing Sovigaz Industrial Gas Company along with 01 Acetylene Production Plant  and 02 Welding Electrode Manufacturing Plants.

- 1994: Invested in oxygen and nitrogen production line with a capacity of  05 tons per day.

- 1997: Invested in oxygen and nitrogen production line with a capacity of  10 tons per day.

- 2000: Invested in oxygen and nitrogen production line with a capacity of  15 tons per day.

- 2002: Invested in oxygen, nitrogen and argon production line with a capacity of  60 tons per day.

- 2005: Trang Kenh Chemical and Calcium Carbide Company was merged and transformed as a branch.

- 2007: Transformed into Industrial Gas and Welding Electrode One-Member Limited Company with investment of  oxygen, nitrogen and argon production line with a capacity of 100 tons per day.

- 2014: Invested in welding electrode manufacturing line with a capacity of 10,000 tons per year.

- 10 November 2014: Conducted the initial public offering (IPO) at Ho Chi Minh City Stock Exchange (HOSE) with an average price of VND10,009/share;

- 23 December 2014: Transformed into Industrial Gas and Welding Electrode Joint Stock Company;

- 06 April 2016: Traded on the UPCOM market;
