- Phuong Nam Cultural Joint Stock Company (PNC), formerly known as District 11 General Services and Culture Company, was established in 1982. In 1999, it was transformed into a joint stock model. The Company's main production and business fields are cultural products, stationery, printing and book supermarket system. In which, book supermarket always accounts for the highest proportion of revenue and profit, and is also a strong point to build a leading distributor position in Vietnam. Currently the Company has 27 bookstores, 6 book cafes, 5 cinema complexes, 4 Subsidiaries and 4 Affiliates located in Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City, Nha Trang, Da Nang, Can Tho, Hue, Hai Phong. On average, Phuong Nam annually issues 40,000 titles and establishes copyright deals with many world famous corporations such as the United Kingdom, the United States, Belgium, Hong Kong and China.
