- Petrovietnam General Services Corporation (PET), formerly Petrol Tourism - Services Company, was established in 1996. In 2006, Equitized and renamed as Petrovietnam General Services Corporation. Company mainly operates in distributing electronics and information technology products. supplying materials, equipment and petroleum services in which catering service is a traditional field. Distribution and retail system spreads throughout the country with system of branches and warehouse in 11 provinces and 1,700 independent agents. PET currently has three member units that are implementing the business of telecommunications products, information technology and electrical and electronic products, which are PetroVietnam General Distribution Services Joint Stock Company (PSD), Cong Smart Convergence Joint Stock Company (Smartcom) and PetroVietnam High Technology Product Distribution Joint Stock Company (PHTD). This business is assigned to Central Petroleum Trading Services Joint Stock Company (PSMT). Industrial products in the petroleum industry distributed by Petrosetco include: Polypropylene (PP) resin, liquefied petroleum gas (LPG). Petrosetco undertakes to cover products of oil and gas processing industry such as LPG, PP of Dung Quat oil refinery with the output of 36,000 tons of PP and 30,000 tons of LPG per year.
